Wall Mounted Industrial Tube Axial Fan — Manufacturer & Supplier, India
Vayuvents manufactures Wall Mounted Industrial Tube Axial Fans for through-wall exhaust and fresh air supply in factories, warehouses, workshops, and process buildings. 305 mm to 1,220 mm dia, IS 3588 compliant. Mumbai manufacturer. Call +91 90961 88703.
A Wall Mounted Industrial Tube Axial Fan is a direct-drive axial fan in a tubular circular casing specifically designed for through-wall installation — inserted into a circular opening in the building wall to provide forced exhaust ventilation or fresh air supply without requiring floor space or overhead structure.
The tube axial configuration places the motor and impeller coaxially inside a short tubular casing, making the unit compact and self-contained. The casing flanges are bolted directly to the wall on both faces, and the unit requires only an electrical supply connection. Louvres or weather-protective grilles are fitted on the external face to prevent rain ingress and bird entry when the fan is stopped.
Vayuvents manufactures wall mounted tube axial fans in the 305 mm to 1,220 mm diameter range, covering airflow from 1,800 m³/hr to 69,000 m³/hr. Larger sizes (1,530 mm and above) are more commonly supplied in base-mounted or stand-mounted configuration due to the structural wall load requirements at those sizes.
Available with reversible motors for two-direction airflow (supply in winter, exhaust in summer), with automatic back-draught shutters, and with corrosion-resistant FRP or SS casings for chemical plant and coastal environments.
Key Features & Benefits
Through-Wall Installation
Self-contained tubular casing fits into a standard circular wall opening — no floor space required, suitable for solid walls, sandwich panels, and sheet metal wall cladding.
Bidirectional Option
Reversible motor option allows the same fan to supply fresh air or exhaust stale air — useful for seasonal ventilation reversal in warehouses and cold-storage buildings.
Back-Draught Shutter
Automatic gravity-operated back-draught shutters on the external face prevent reverse airflow, rain ingress, and bird entry when the fan is stopped.
Compact Tube Casing
Short tubular casing minimises wall penetration depth — suitable for thin structural walls, hollow-block walls, and insulated sandwich panel construction.
Flange Mount
Circular flanged casing bolts directly to the wall opening on both faces — secure, weatherproof installation without additional framing or support structure.
Low Energy Consumption
Efficient aerodynamic impeller and appropriately selected motor speed deliver required airflow with minimum power consumption — lower running cost than oversized fans.
Weatherproof Variants
FRP or SS316 casing options for coastal, chemical, and corrosive atmosphere wall installations where MS painted casing would corrode.
IS 3588 Certified
Airflow and pressure tested per IS 3588-1987 with test certificate — confirms stated performance is delivered at the installed operating point.

The wall opening diameter should be 10 to 20 mm larger than the fan casing outer diameter to allow for installation and sealing. For example, a 610 mm (24") tube axial fan casing typically requires a 630 to 640 mm diameter wall opening. Vayuvents provides the exact required opening dimensions with each fan supply.
Yes. Reversible single-phase and three-phase motors are available for tube axial fans requiring both supply and exhaust operation from the same fan position. The motor rotates in reverse to change airflow direction. However, note that reversed airflow efficiency is slightly lower than forward airflow in standard blade profiles. Vayuvents offers symmetrical blade profile impellers for equal supply and exhaust performance on request.
For outdoor-facing installations, Vayuvents recommends: (1) automatic back-draught shutters that close when the fan is stopped — prevents rain ingress and reverse airflow from wind; (2) aluminium or GRP louvred bird guard to prevent bird nesting; and (3) GI or SS weatherhood for installations in areas with heavy rain or monsoon exposure. All external accessories are supplied and fitted at Vayuvents works.
Standard MS casing fans are not suitable for corrosive chemical fumes. For chemical plant storage buildings, acid fume exhaust, and coastal environments, Vayuvents supplies tube axial fans with FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) or SS304/316 casings and GRP anti-static impellers that resist chemical attack. Please specify the chemical or corrosive medium when requesting a quotation.
Standard Vayuvents tube axial fan casings accommodate wall thicknesses up to 300 mm. For thicker walls (300 mm to 600 mm), an extended casing length is available on request. For walls above 600 mm thickness, a flanged duct connection to the fan is recommended rather than a longer casing.
Yes. Vayuvents supplies GMP-compatible wall mounted tube axial fans in SS304 or SS316L casing for pharmaceutical production buildings, food processing plants, and clean room exhaust applications. These are supplied with smooth internal surfaces, no dead zones, and are designed for wet cleaning with water and disinfectant.
