Effective poultry ventilation is directly linked to production performance — inadequate ventilation causes heat stress, reduced growth rates, poor feed conversion, increased mortality, and lower egg production in layers.

Vayuvents poultry ventilation fans are designed for the specific requirements of Indian commercial poultry production — high summer temperatures (up to 45°C ambient), high ammonia levels from litter (requiring corrosion-resistant fan construction), and the need for very high air change rates (up to 60 per hour at peak summer) in tunnel ventilation systems.

Fan blades are in aluminium alloy or FRP — both materials that resist the ammonia and high-humidity poultry house atmosphere that rapidly corrodes standard MS fans. The IP55 motor enclosure prevents ammonia and moisture from entering the motor.
