A Wall Fresh or Exhaust Air Fan is a propeller or tube axial fan mounted through the building wall — used for either fresh air supply (drawing outdoor air in) or exhaust ventilation (pushing stale or contaminated air out) depending on the motor direction and the fan placement. The same basic fan unit serves both duties in many installations.
Vayuvents manufactures wall fresh/exhaust fans from 300 mm to 1,200 mm diameter for industrial, agricultural, greenhouse, poultry, and commercial building applications. The through-wall mounting requires a circular wall penetration matching the fan casing diameter — the fan frame bolts directly to the wall face on both internal and external sides.
External face protection includes automatic back-draught shutters (gravity-operated louvres that close when the fan is stopped, preventing reverse airflow and rain ingress) and a weatherproof GI or aluminium louvred cowl. GI construction for standard indoor environments; aluminium or FRP for high-humidity, agricultural, and coastal environments.
Thermostat, humidistat, and timer control compatible. Single-phase 230V available for smaller sizes in locations without 3-phase supply.
